Elementary School Teacher
Full-Time · K–12
Overview

Shape the experiences of our youngest learners in a nurturing, Christ-centered environment that develops academic excellence and spiritual growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with academic and spiritual goals
  • Integrate Christian principles throughout the curriculum
  • Create a positive, structured classroom where students feel safe and valued
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and participate in professional development
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Valid teaching certification for elementary education
  • Experience in a Christian school setting preferred
  • Committed Christian, actively integrating faith into teaching
Middle School ELA Teacher
Full-Time · Grades 6–8
Overview

Engage middle schoolers in developing strong reading comprehension, grammar, writing, and analytical skills while helping them explore how language reflects truth and values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver ELA instruction grounded in standards and biblical truth
  • Engage students in literary analysis, grammar, vocabulary, and creative writing
  • Foster thoughtful discussion and a love for learning in the classroom
  • Collaborate with faculty and participate in chapel and school initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Valid teaching certification for middle school English/ELA (or in progress)
  • Experience working with middle school students
  • Creative, flexible, and team-oriented with a heart for discipleship
High School Science Teacher
Full-Time · Grades 9–12
Overview

Develop and deliver engaging science curricula for grades 9–12, fostering a love of scientific inquiry while integrating Christian values and principles into instruction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design comprehensive science curricula aligned with state and national standards
  • Create hands-on learning experiences that encourage curiosity and critical thinking
  • Integrate Christian principles and perspectives into science instruction
  • Foster relationships with students, parents, and the broader school community
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's in Science Education, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field
  • Valid teaching certification for middle and high school science
  • Proven experience teaching science at the secondary level
  • Committed to ICA's mission and able to integrate faith into teaching
